Informatics 6: eResearch Project
This is a project based subject in which students will design and implement a significant solution/application to address a non-trivial domain-specific problem, based on the concepts, technologies and approaches they have learnt in the preceding Informatics subjects.
Students will be required to propose a specific project with the support of an appropriate supervisor with domain expertise; they will then implement the solution while contributing to and being supported by a peer-based development community comprised of fellow students, IT experts and domain specialists. Student will have an opportunity to present their work to the community for critique and feedback.
